Microsoft buys itself into entertaiment history!

After selling $170 million in Halo 3 games it makes you wonder where it all came from. As Steve Chazin in the marketingapple.com blog points out:
One of the best games ever for the Mac was a little product known as Marathon from a little company known as Bungie. Keep in mind that Steve Jobs [...]

The social graph and new social economy

Don’t want to sound like a broken record but…since the dawn of the internetz people have being trying to communicate: email, chat, VoIP, etc. People have been claiming that the next step in communication will be video, when in reality it is shaping to become more indirect and in context communications. Gateway today announced the new “One”….a sorry attempt to lure iMac customers away from the Mac. A couple of years ago, that would have sounded crazy….lol.

They all had good things and bad. On some, getting the information into the system was a pain the neck. Others just offered a poor [...]

ZDNet: New version of Gmail being tested

Yahoo and Hotmail have done a lot of changes to their email offerings, and since it’s inception in 2004 Gmail has gone pretty much unchanged(added several features like google chat). The one feature that I would love to see is IMAP support. I use Mail app in my Mac and the email app in my [...]

My firs post

A couple of years ago I started a blog called techscurry…..I learned a lot from writing that blog. Then after some time I simpy stopped writting…..then it got hacked and everything was lost. Now I am back with a more informal blog. Instead of emailing friends and family I am simply going to post here.
