A380 Airpots in the US

Posted by Jonathan Tarud on October 16, 2007

OK, so the A-380 is sort of officially out of the gate. Singapore is doing it’s inaugural flight from Singapore to Sydney with tickets being sold on eBay (charity event). What’s interesting to note is the airports that are, and will be ready to receive it this coming year.

“Very likely” to serve the A380 by 2008

New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport

San Francisco International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport

Planning to be ready for the future

Orlando International Airport

Washington Dulles International Airport

Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport

Dallas-Fort Worth International

Miami International Airport

Denver International Airport

If all of these actually serve it that makes it 9 out of I don’t know how many airports in the US.

787 Sanity check: all mayor US airports accepted (bummer for Airbus)
