Why do companies companies insist on copying products and not the art of innovation?
As Dell and Gateway continue to get hammered by Apple, they turn to copying products rather than coming up with some of their own. In this case it’s the iMac again. I kind of feel sorry for big companies since they are black holes of innovation, due to bureaucracy and politics. They are calling it the Dell XPS One.
In Dell’s and Gateways defense: there’s not much to innovate in after you’ve built the all in one desktop a-la-iMac…just different shells.
I know this kind of old news, I just didn’t pick up on it till now, since I have grown accustomed to ignore any headlines with Dell, Sony, Gateway and Microsoft(sometimes) in because they are just a bunch of idiots with Xeroxes.
(The title makes it sound much more interesting….lol)
