Non digital things hardly scale. Netflix’s growth is it’s own pain(or the post office’s in this case), no matter how efficient they are they are bound to find bottlenecks in dvd deliveries. The inevitable future of movie rentals is online(are you listening Steve?). A couple of years from now, I hope to be writing about how big of an asshole the telcos are. Supply chain strains are bound to hit somewhere. Just as Om Malik was saying the other day, digital logistics is a competitive advantage.
