Facebook used agaist Terrorist: “NO MAS FARC” 1

Posted by Jonathan Tarud on February 04, 2008

It all started as a student creating a Facebook group in Barranquilla, Colombia which surpassed the 260,000 members within a couple of days. It turned into a worldwide march from Sydney to Moscow against the drug dealing, terrorist and kidnappers of the FARC(Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia). Today in more than 27 Colombian cities and 106 worldwide, people are proclaiming with one voice against this terrorist organization to please stop the violence and kidnapping. Help us spread the word in the internetz!

The terrorists have roughly 750 kidnapped people, including 3 American contractors.

Wow this is great, I find it amazing how people can come together to join a cause… I actually went here in NY to the march by the UN building, lots of Colombians there, it was nice to see people come together like that.
