Where does the policing stop and the great user experience start web TV show? NBC is already giving the TV shows for “free” on TV. Why not have a version with ads put up on the torrent sites and profit from that as well as iTunes sales(at a reasonable price). I would love to see [...]

Holy Crap! iTunes Now Number Two Music Retailer in the US
Apple:
The iTunes Store — now with over 50 million customers — has sold over four billion songs. In fact, it sold an incredible 20 million songs on Christmas Day 2007 alone.
Now they only need to convince the some 50+ million more iPod owners on paying for something they are getting for free(by stealing that is…duh!).

VisualHub, the essential video tool
Nice write up on VisualHub, the best video conversion tool I’ve used.
What I like about it: it is blazing fast…and:
VisualHub has become the must-have tool of choice when it comes to converting content for iTunes. Conversions can be optimized for the current selection of Apple devices. There is an option to have concerted content [...]
Sony and Apple Need Each Other
Businessweek is reporting that Sony BMG is dropping DMR in Q1 2008. This is a mayor break through because it comes a week later after Warner went DRM-less with Amazon. The Amazon MP3 store is gaining too much traction in content deals for Apple to ignore and they need to fight back soon.
If I [...]

Macworld Rumor mill: iTunes movie rentals!
Don’t you love this time of year? With Christmas behind us, only one thing is on everyones mind: Not New Years, but rather the pre-Macworld rumor mill. As exiting as the actual event (or even more) is the sound of everybody giving “their two cents” on what will happen this year (would be a whole [...]
What is up with NBC?
NBC executive are just simply annoying and fucking stupid. First news break out that NBC is ditching iTunes for their own TV show distribution(Windows only by the way). Now they dumped YouTube’s direct channel that featured non other than the SNL hit “Junk in a Box”. It had over 28 million views!!! How can they [...]
“Total Music” (NOT!!!)
I am starting to notice that this blog is becoming a cry out to the music industry. Oh well…After reading about the “Total Music” initiative from Universal’s CEO I finally saw how stupid old media can be(and I though Ringles were as stupid as it gets). It’s seems the record labels are a bunch of [...]
And The Walls Came Tumbling Down: Madonna Dumps Record Industry
Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Jamiroquai, Oasis, Prince and now Madonna. Although she is not going direct like some artists, but rather going without a record label. Finally the walls are crumbling.
On a side note: I downloaded the Rainbow album on Tuesdays when it came out. I got an MP3 version of the files in [...]
Now a special announcement to the MPAA
That’s Motion Picture Association of America(MPAA) which also tries to hurt people that share:
I know that movies are more expensive to make than a music record, so I am going to spare you on my “anarchist speech”, but still you need to step it up a bit. No more you need this OS to play [...]
